While the legality of it is doubtful. I highly recommend walking around the dormitories in the dumpsters on the university campus after moving during the day. You`ll have to wait until spring, but you`d be overwhelmed by what the students would throw away. All kinds of furniture, artwork, electronics and anything else they can`t take home. In the end, I picked up at least a dozen amazing boxes from the dumpster, and Will managed to find an even larger pile in a second dumpster along the way. In short, we ran to the back of this building at midnight, behaved like thieves and we totally panicked. Guys, I`m pretty sure it happens when good kids want to think they`ve become bad. I should be ashamed, but instead, I find it damn funny! Under this law, if people have thrown something in public, they have lost their right to that particular thing and no longer have the right to call it their own. In this case, if a garbage diver has picked up his belongings during his hunt, he does not have the right to take legal action. In fact, most divers prefer to dive at night for more privacy, but this can sometimes be dangerous and the competition is high compared to the day. We rode a bit and although we were able to get our hands on a few boxes, we were still clearly in the crowd. Again ready to be released on bail, we were walking home when we saw shiny cardboard protruding from the top of a dumpster.
VICTORY! The state`s laws on the prohibition of houses must be followed at all times to avoid being charged with trespassing and facing fines. That would complete the situation. And there`s nothing more (or less) to say about diving in the trash in Colorado than it would be anything but a fantastic experience. Just follow the laws, don`t exceed them, and you`ll get the most out of every dumpster diving hunt you`ve decided to do. With a set schedule and hard work, you will soon be able to earn a substantial income. Diving in dumpsters is a big part of recycling, and it`s important to know if you`re in the right place. So if you need to enter private property to dive into dumpsters, get a permit from the appropriate neighborhoods. Remember: if you need to open a fence or enter someone`s property, this is not the best place to dive into the dumpster.
