Legal 500 Submissions Portal

Our deadlines are set so that our research team can spend as much time as possible analyzing your submissions and collecting as much feedback as possible from the reviewers provided. The task of the drafting is to research the legal market in practice; assigning rankings to business practices; and the accompanying editorial. There is no charge for an editorial submission. Our editorial staff is independent and we do not favour advertisers. Visit our US submission page here for more helpful tips and tricks. While we make every effort to review all documents sent to us, late submissions may not be reviewed in detail by our research team, and some or all reviewers provided after our deadlines may not be contacted for comment. Once logged in to the portal, please follow the instructions to add and update content. However, if your company has not received a connection, envoyez-submissions@legal500.com an email to request access. Yes. You can add one or more references to your customer reference list if you send us an email before the submission deadline. After that date, it may be too late. Companies that bid multiple bids must agree on a standardized naming convention to facilitate the identification and location of bids.

You don`t have to do anything. We will ignore the duplicate (provided both lists are sent to us before the submission deadline). For more information, visit the Chambers submission pages below, which contain helpful tips and tips tailored specifically to each guide. You do not need to send us separate quotes for countries covered by Chambers Global if those countries are covered in one of our other guides (UK, US, Latin America, Europe, Asia Pacific). We encourage companies and groups to use the recommended logos on their websites, electronic signatures and marketing materials and, where possible, cite www.legal500.com as a source. The logos may only be used by companies, groups and individuals recommended as part of our independent research in the editorial sections of The Legal 500. For continent-wide practice areas (as opposed to your country`s practices), we require separate submissions in addition to country submissions. Continent-wide submissions should show work that demonstrates your company`s supra-regional capabilities. You will no longer send email submissions to Legal 500; Instead, they must be uploaded to a new online system. ConvertNow is optional.

It is designed to help businesses in the bidding process. Many companies report that this saves them a huge amount of preparation and processing time. However, its use is optional – you don`t have to use it! Not only do we contact clients recommended by law firms to review their bids, but we compare these results with a detailed representative sample of the world`s largest companies. In particular, we ensure that we have contacted a statistically valid sample of top-tier clients if they are sorted by market capitalization, sector or region. All updates are made in real time, so all changes appear live in www.legal500.com the same day. Any subsequent changes should be emailed to editorial@legal500.com. You need to allow more time for submissions, especially since this will be the first experience with the new system for many people. Law firms and ensembles are encouraged to provide The Legal 500 submissions and reviewers. For specific information on how you can submit information to us, please click on the jurisdiction/region relevant to your business/set.

You can go back to a later date and add new law firm filing files or modified files (but please check the submission deadlines for the issue you submit through the Submission Information page to make sure you are not late). Client research conducted for The Legal 500 consists of two main components and includes qualitative and quantitative analyses. Each year, we write to companies asking them to provide information about their areas of expertise, asking for specific details about the work done in the previous year (some of which is confidential and not publicly available). This approach gives us a consistent level and standardized data quality, allowing us to compare legal service providers with greater accuracy and security. We are also the only ones to publish their web statistics. We have about 18.5 million page views per year. We believe this is much more than any competitor or any comparable legal website. We believe our traffic is 2.3 times that of the Chambers & Partners website (source: semrush.com; ahrefs.com; similarweb.com) We email client testimonials asking for feedback on strengths, weaknesses, innovations, individuals, and the legal market in general. All comments and reactions to customer testimonials are made on a confidential and non-transferable basis. An arbitrator may be a client, an importer or occupational physician, or a consultant.

Legal marketers in the U.S. and U.K. need to navigate Legal 500`s new online filing system — the biggest overhaul of how submissions are handled in the company`s history. Over the course of the year, however, Legal 500 encouraged law firms to use the online portal, first in Asia in the spring, and then in Europe, the Middle East and Africa in the summer. Check the submission schedule for this issue and visit our submission information page. The system allows multiple people to work on submissions at the same time – for example, marketing person A can work on submission A at the same time, while marketing person B works on submission B. Do not hesitate to contact us for any questions or problems with content@legal500.com. We strive to respond to your request within three business days.

Interviews are based on a standard questionnaire. However, follow-up questions and more comprehensive conversations about specific law firms and key issues that influence the purchase of legal services are indeed the norm. This is partly due to the fact that the interviews are conducted by experienced journalists and researchers with a high level of market knowledge. Not all interviews are assignable. Throughout the year, we also receive many unsolicited comments and recommendations from customers. We take data security very seriously and are not willing to accept confidential or third-party information (such as law firm filings and client reference lists) via email. All submissions sent by email will be considered a security risk and will not be processed. We do not contact references for the whole of Europe unless they relate to international trade/WTO or regulatory and public affairs, for which we encourage reviewers and separate submissions – if you have any questions, please contact Chambers Europe`s Research Director.

Once the submission is approved as usual, upload it to the online portal by clicking on the “Import from MS Word” button. Law firms that are more conscientious with Legal 500 filings will adapt, but the challenge will be for firms that haven`t spent much time on the Legal 500 before and have quickly converted/rebranded their Chambers filings. Companies are strongly advised to meet the deadlines indicated via the submission page. Enter your own label to identify your submissions, such as “Directory/Company/Country/Practice”. Please log in via our new portal system to update your firm profile and lawyer biography content. Keep in mind that you need to upload two templates: If you are having trouble getting ConvertNow up and running, please contact us using the form here.
