Garbage is collected every holiday (as observed by Miami-Dade County), except: All county offices (including libraries) are closed on all 13 county holidays. County, metrorail and metromover bus service is offered on all holidays except New Year`s Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labour Day, Thanksgiving Day and Christmas Day when service operates on Sundays.
